Dr Chami Rathmalgoda is an award winning Consultant Occupational Physician with specialist accreditation in the UK and medical accreditation in Australia. Completing specialist accreditation in 2019 as one of the youngest occupational medicine consultants in the UK she has grown a reputation for excellence in clinical service delivery, strategy and organisational health leadership. Recognised with awards from both the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (Mobbs Health Fellowship 2015) and the Society of Occupational Medicine (Golden Jubilleee Fellowship 2016). Dr Rathmalgoda is extensively involved in postgraduate training and runs courses for the Society of Occupational Medicine. She obtained her MSc in Occupational Medicine from the University of Manchester in 2019 and has post graduate training in Lifestyle Medicine from Harvard University.

With global experience across corporate, transport, government and NHS industries Dr Rathmalgoda brings a wealth of expertise.

Dr Rathmalgoda graduated from medicine at the University of New South Wales. She trained at the prestigious Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney and Canberra Hospital in internal medicine before moving to London to specialise in stroke medicine at Imperial College Healthcare. Her speciality training in Occupational Medicine was undertake at Kings College Hospital. Following this she moved to Transport for London as an occupational physician and continues in a senior health leadership position for Transport for London and the Greater London Authorities.

Dr Rathmalgoda currently works as a Chief Medical Officer for Investment Banks, FTSE100 Corporations, Multinational Finance/Media Companies and Prestigious Legal Firms.
